We are pleased to announce that Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill (LHAG) Construction, Engineering, Projects, Infrastructure & International Arbitration Partner, Darshendev Singh, will speak at the fourth instalment of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) Evening Talk Series 2026 on 6 August 2026 (Thursday), from 6.00 to 7.30 pm, at the AIAC Auditorium.

The session, themed “Addressing The Urgency: Emergency Arbitration and Protective Preliminary Orders in Scrutiny”, will examine the growing significance and practical challenges of interim relief in arbitration from a Malaysian perspective. It will also explore recent developments in emergency procedures, including protective preliminary orders (PPOs), and their implications for the wider legal and arbitration landscape.

The discussion will provide insight into the enforceability of emergency decisions and how emergency arbitral relief differs from court-granted interim measures, offering participants a timely opportunity to deepen their understanding of modern arbitration practice.
