Last Saturday (1 December), Crystal Wong Wai Chin, case counsel of the Energy, Infrastructure & Projects, and International Arbitration Practice Group at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill, was in Macau SAR, China, to present her latest paper at the UNCITRAL-UM Joint Conference 2018, which carried the theme “Emerging Legal Standards in Harmonization of Trade Law and Implications for Regional Economic Cooperation”. She discussed effective multi-tiered dispute resolution through UNCITRAL Instruments, including promoting the role of early settlement and interim payment.
