Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill Partner, Amardeep Singh Toor has been invited to speak at the EPF Industrial Relations (IR) Law Conference 2023 on 8.8.2023, followed by the Malaysian Employment Laws Conference 2023 on 16.8.2023.

Amardeep will first appear as a guest speaker at the EPF Industrial Relations (IR) Law Conference 2023 to share his knowledge and expertise regarding the impact of the recent amendments to the Employment Act 1955. He will also be addressing the matter of employee dismissals.

Amardeep will then be speaking on the topic of “Mental Health and Dismissal From Work” at the Malaysian Employment Laws Conference (MELC) 2023, at 2.30 PM – 3.30 PM. The keynote address will be delivered by YB Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang, the Minister of National Unity. The conference shall feature prominent speakers, including the Labour Department’s legal unit head Puan Suraiya Ch’ng and the current Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission operations assessment panel chairman Datuk Ahmad Rosli.
