Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill is delighted to announce that our White Collar Crime Partner, Tiara Katrina Fuad, will be speaking at the 2025 Criminal Law & Procedure Seminar. The seminar, organised by Current Law Journal (CLJ), will take place on the 20ᵗʰ of February 2025 at Courtyard by Marriott, Kuala Lumpur South.
Katrina is scheduled to speak from 11:45AM to 12:45PM, sharing her insights on the “Admissibility of Illegally Obtained Confessions”. This session will explore the legal complexities surrounding the use of confessions in criminal proceedings, with a focus on those obtained through extrajudicial means. Participants will examine key principles, ethical considerations, and the challenges of using such evidence in court.
