Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill is delighted to announce that our Real Estate Dispute Partner, Ho Ai Ting, will be speaking at the 12th annual Malaysia Land Conference 2024: Evolution of Harmony: Navigating Change and Shaping the Future of Land Development in Malaysia, organised by Comfori. The conference will take place on the 17th and 18th of July 2024 at Hotel Royal Signature, Kuala Lumpur.

Ai Ting’s session is scheduled as the eighth session on Day 2, from 9:00AM to 9:45AM, where she will be speaking on “Land Dispute Resolution: A Comparative Analysis of Recent Court Cases in Malaysia”. Her presentation will outline the legal framework for land disputes in Malaysia, covering relevant laws, regulations, and the role of the judiciary. She will discuss notable land dispute cases involving ownership, land use, and acquisition. Additionally, Ai Ting will address common challenges and the implications of court decisions on stakeholders.
