Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill Partner, Darshendev Singh, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming seminar titled, “Revisiting the Malaysia-Sulu Legal Duels and Expert Evidence: An Opportune Appraisal of the Global Arbitral System”, organised by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in collaboration with Legal Plus and L2 i-CON International. This is part of the renowned Dubai Arbitration Week (DAW), an annual prestigious week-long event that gathers legal professionals and experts in the arbitration field.

The seminar will take place on the 14th of November 2023, from 9:30AM GST to 12:30PM GST, at the Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Downtown Dubai, UAE. Darshendev will be speaking in the first session, focusing on “The Use of Expert Evidence in Arbitration – Challenges and Safeguards”, alongside Michael Tonkin (Partner at HKA); Anand Anthony (Director of Claims & Expert Services at Drees and Sommer); and Trung Nguyen (Chair of the Society of Construction Law Vietnam [SCLVN]). This session will be moderated by Dr. Ehsan Munaaim (Contracts Director at Systra).

The keynote address will be delivered by the Chairman of the AIAC Advisory Board, Professor Dato’ Dr. Rahmat Bin Mohamad, and closing remarks will be by the Director of L2 i-CON International, Cindy Wong.
