Last week, Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill held its inaugural “Federalism in Malaysia” conference at the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, which was officiated by guest of honour, His Royal Highness the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, who was also the royal patron. Dignitaries present included the Chief Justice of Malaysia, the Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, the Deputy President of the Senate, the Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, the deputy ministers of finance and defence, senators, Members of Parliament and Negeri Sembilan State EXCO Members.
The conference, which was themed “Redefining the Federal-State Relationship in Malaysia”, consisted of six sessions that examined the dynamics of federalism, and saw the participation of LHAG’s consultant and partners:

Datuk Aznam Mansor, who represented LHAG at the conference, received a certificate of appreciation from the royal patron. The organising committee of the conference was chaired by S Saravana Kumar.
