Real Estate and Tax, both ranked Band 2, also earned praise―the former for being “professional, quick to respond and customer-oriented”, and the latter for its “strong tax expertise, timely response and commercial pragmatism”. Tay Weng Hwee (Real Estate) is described as “a true professional who is well versed on cross-border M&A transactions and represents clients well at the negotiation table”, while Bella Chu Chai Yee (Real Estate) is again noted as “Up and Coming”.

Chambers observes the Tax team has “demonstrated that they are up to date with developments in the law”, while Dato’ Nitin Nadkarni made his debut in Band 2 and Jason Tan Jia Xin (Tax) has been recognised as “Up and Coming”.

Corporate and M&A, Intellectual Property, Projects, Infrastructure & Energy and Technology, Media & Telecommunications are also favourably ranked.
