Chambers Asia-Pacific, one of the leading independent researchers, recently released its 2021 detailed rankings and insights into the world’s leading lawyers.

Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill (LHAG) is honoured to have earned strong rankings in the 2021 edition.

The Dispute Resolution Department is one of the only two law firms in the country ranked Band 1. Chambers described the department as “a standout disputes team, drawing on a strong bench of high-quality litigators”. Lambert Rasa-Ratnam continues to be ranked as a Band 1 practitioner. Other ranked Dispute Resolution partners are Sean Yeow Huang-Meng, Andrew Chiew Ean Vooi, G Vijay Kumar and SM Shanmugam.

Dato’ Nitin Nadkarni, also ranked as a Band 1 practitioner in Dispute Resolution: Construction, has been noted for being a pre-eminent practitioner specialising in multi-jurisdictional construction arbitration. One client describes him as “meticulous and commercially minded”, whilst another commentator calls him a “standout individual” in the market.

The Employment & Industrial Relations Department is also ranked Band 1 and has been noted for its “excellent level of service provided and response time”. The department is led by Lim Heng Seng, who is himself ranked as a Band 1 practitioner, with a market commentator describing him as “very specialised”.
